When a radioactive barrel washed ashore threatens Atlantis, Namor takes it upon himself to dispose of the danger by hurling it into a deep crevasse—only to awaken an ancient, silent force that now stalks both the surface and the deep. As the creature spreads chaos, Namor finds himself locked in combat with a monstrous foe, unaware that a nearby submarine sees only a threat to be destroyed, and begins firing torpedoes at both of them.
