E Is for Extinction #2

Part of Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars event, this second issue of E Is for Extinction carries the charged story title "X vs. X" — and the cover by Ian Bertram makes that conflict immediately tangible. Set against a striking isometric maze of black corridors and golden platforms, Emma Frost floats at center in her white coat while Wolverine's claws slash from the left, a red-visored Cyclops fires a optic blast across the lower level, and a blue-furred Beast crouches warily at the right.
