About this Collection

This volume wraps up the original Dynamo 5 series, collecting the final story arc as the Flynn siblings—the super-powered children of the late Captain Dynamo—face their greatest challenges yet. With their father's legacy weighing on them and new threats emerging, the team must confront betrayals, family secrets, and a battle that could decide the fate of their city. The collection also includes a crossover with Invincible and other Image Universe characters, tying the Dynamo 5 saga into a larger superhero tapestry.

In "Sins of the Father Part One of Five," the Dynamo 5 team faces a brutal test when Smasher, wielding the powerful Strong-Suit, makes a devastating choice that leaves the group shaken. Written by Jay Faerber and illustrated by Julio Brilha with colors by Ron Riley and letters by Charles Pritchett, this pivotal issue reveals a chilling rift within the team. The cover by Mahmud A. Asrar captures the moment’s intensity, setting the stage for a story where loyalty and truth are put to the ultimate trial.

Using the Strong-Suit, Smasher easily kills two of the sons; the third surrenders, but Smasher kills him anyway, to the horror of the rest of Dynamo 5. With the crisis over, Smasher apologizes to the others for what he did and claims he's sorry, but Wraith reads his mind and sees he isn't sorry at all.
