Durango Kid #25

The Durango Kid encounters a group of hostile men at the Bar-W Ranch who claim it is private property and refuse him entry, but he outwits them and discovers they are counterfeiting money on the premises. After exposing their operation to the sheriff, the Durango Kid pursues the fleeing criminals across the Rannahan Trail. In a parallel subplot, a white wolf named Balu with a bullet wound in its shoulder becomes entangled with a vengeful bear in the forest; when the Durango Kid intervenes to save the wounded animal, he discovers Balu belongs to his old companions Dan Brand and Tipi, reuniting them as allies against their common enemies.
