Durango Kid #27

The main story features the Durango Kid confronting a trio of ruthless outlaws—Fats, Big Dog, and their gang—who are attempting to take over a town. During a nighttime confrontation, Steve Brand (the Durango Kid) engages in a gunfight with the villains and shoots a gun out of one outlaw's hand. A secondary story, "Dan Brand and Tipi: The Bear Who Became a Man," recounts a frontier legend about an encounter between a bear and humans from the days of American independence.
