Part three of "Raistlin's Pawn" arrives in this April 1989 installment of DC's DragonLance series, and the cover — rendered by Ron Randall — sets a suitably dramatic tone. A determined, long-haired warrior grips his sword in the foreground while a sharp-eyed red-haired woman and a wizened old man press close behind him, all three figures dwarfed by enormous, castle-crowned rock formations floating ominously in a stormy sky above. With Mishkin, Collins, Randall, and Elliott collaborating on the interior, this penultimate chapter of the four-part arc promises plenty of fantasy adventure worthy of the beloved Krynn setting.
