Continuing their world tour, Dragon and Serpent travel to Paris. While discussing the creation of new identities -something Mark has done often over the past 1200 years-- Mark tells Serpent of his time as a King's musketeer, and an adventure involving The Man in the Iron Mask. At the end of the tale, Serpent takes the name Brigit.
