Doom Patrol #28
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSimon Bisley's painted cover for this December 1989 issue is a striking piece of work — a massive armored figure dominates the right side, rendered in cool blues and purples, while chaotic, biomechanical forms swirl in the background and a red-gauntleted fist reaches in from the left edge. The whole composition has that dense, dreamlike quality that suits Grant Morrison's run on this title perfectly. With Morrison writing, Case and Nyberg on interiors, and the story titled "Labyrinths," this is one of those issues where the art and concept feel genuinely in sync.
