As they explore the house, they witness the family rising from their coffins at night—proof of their monstrous nature—before the first light of dawn turns them to ash.
In "The Voodoo Master!" from Doll Man #38 (1952), Darrel and Martha visit a wax museum where they’re unnerved by lifelike figures of two people they know—only to uncover that the museum’s curator, Dr. Voodoo, has a deadly past tied to them. The story unfolds as long-buried secrets surface, revealing a vengeful mind with a grudge stretching back fifteen years.
