Martha is on a train reading up on will power when the train is raided by The Skull, who was after Darrel's crago of Thorium. Elmo is kenneled in the compartment and alerted Doll Man to the danger. However, when Martha is knocked out by the Skull, she awakes feeling strange, and when Doll Man is captured, she focuses all of her own will power to gather "cosmic forces" and was miraculously transformed into Doll Girl, who rescued the mighty mite.
