“Beware...! Dormammu Is Watching!”

In "Beware...! Dormammu Is Watching!", Doctor Strange, Mordo, and the Ancient One are thrust into a neutral dimension by Dormammu, who then manipulates the Mindless Ones and summons rival rulers from across the multiverse. With Earth at stake, Dormammu challenges Strange to a duel of pure skill—using only the Pincers of Power—leaving no room for magic or spells. The battle rages, but just as Strange gains the upper hand, betrayal looms from an unexpected source. Written by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee, with art by Steve Ditko and cover by John Byrne and Al Milgrom, this 1984 Marvel classic delivers a tense, high-stakes clash in the mystical realm.

Dormammu sends Strange, Mordo & The Ancient One to a neutral dimension. He then uses a sleeping potion on the Mindless Ones, so his domain will be temporarily safe and summons rulers of nearby dimensions. Dormammu arrives to challenge Strange in person to battle for total mastery of Earth! Strange accepts, then Dormammu declares they shall fight using only the "Pincers Of Power", and no other spells or incantations. This way, it will be a battle of skill, not power. The battle is fierce-- but when it appears Strange is about to overcome his adversary, Mordo strikes Strange from behind...
