Winged bat-creatures wheel overhead, and the whole composition pulses with eerie menace that feels perfectly suited to a story titled "Lift High the Veil of Fears!" Gene Colan and Klaus Janson bring that same atmospheric energy to the interior, making this a strong entry in one of Marvel's most visually distinctive titles of the decade.
