In "...das ewige Reich zu vernichten," Namor returns to Atlantis only to find it under siege by the Plunderer. As their forces collide, an American submarine above misinterprets the chaos and unleashes depth charges—destroying the Plunderer’s vessel and devastating much of Atlantis. With the city in ruins and Namor unconscious, the surviving Atlanteans prepare to rise to the surface, vowing war on the world above.
