In "Der Herrscher und die Wilden," Namor, imprisoned on Skull Island in the Savage Land, finds himself at the mercy of the Plunderer, a ruthless conqueror who seeks to recruit the Sub-Mariner using a fearsome vibra-gun forged from Plunderstone. When the Swamp Men launch a sudden attack, chaos erupts—freeing Namor as the Plunderer’s stronghold burns. Though he escapes the flames, Namor is too late to stop the villain from fleeing in his advanced submarine, setting a deadly course for Atlantis in retaliation.
