Die Spinne #25
In "Der Kobold und die Gangster," Namor faces off against a mysterious creature known as It in a tense underwater clash that turns deadly when a submarine's torpedoes trigger an avalanche. As the battle rages, Namor fights to survive both the creature and the wreckage, ultimately driving the submarine away with It's carcass in tow—only to collapse from radiation exposure. Back in Atlantis, advanced medicine pulls him through, and as he recovers, he resolves to convene a council of War. Written by Roy Thomas and Hartmut Huff, with art by Dan Adkins, and featuring a striking cover by Steve Ditko, this 1975 issue blends aquatic peril with a quiet, ominous resolve.
In "Der Monarch und das Monster!" from Die Spinne #25 (1975), Namor faces off against a monstrous threat that awakens beneath the sea, their clash triggering a deadly avalanche and a desperate fight aboard a stranded submarine. As the wreckage piles up and the waters churn, Namor emerges battered but alive—saved by Atlantean medicine after a near-fatal radiation exposure—only to vow summoning a council of war in the aftermath.
