In "Rächer sammeln!", Captain America rallies both current and former Avengers to reunite the team into a flexible, unified force with dual bases and a rotating roster. With most members departing, the core group finds themselves suddenly under attack by the relentless Lava Men.

In "Das Feuer in der Tiefe," the Sub-Mariner fights alongside the Avengers in a volcanic clash against the Lava Men, a fierce race whose very existence is tied to ancient, fiery secrets. When the team is brought to the Lava Men’s hidden realm, they face Jinku, the witch doctor who reveals the tragic truth: the Lava Men were nearly wiped out by the Avengers’ actions, and now he seeks vengeance for the death of their creator, the demon Cha'Sa'Dra, a remnant of the Inferno invasion.

In "Metamorphose," the Avengers face off against the sinister Jinku and his monstrous Avatar of Cha'Sa'Dra, a clash that pushes even the mightiest heroes to their limits. As the battle rages, the once-still Lava Men—long thought petrified—awaken from their rocky forms, reborn in golden skin and unleashed with newfound power. The fight takes a devastating turn when Gilgamesh is gravely wounded, leaving the team reeling in the aftermath.

When the Avengers rush to save Gilgamesh after he’s gravely injured, they find themselves out of options—until they turn to Sersi, the Eternal, and join forces to carry him to Olympia, the sacred home of the Eternals.

In "Feuertaufe," Cap and She-Hulk fall to Scarlet Witch and Jeremiah Random, their minds reshaped under a dark spell. As Hawkeye and Mockingbird lead the Great Lakes Avengers in a desperate stand, Tigra battles an inner transformation, her feral instincts growing harder to control.
