Joe Period jumps from a third-floor apartment and cushions his fall by landing atop a parked car. He then leads Tracy and Sam on a chase through the city. Julie collapses, and TRracy realizes that she was hit by the bullet that killed her parakeet. Lizz tells Tracy that Julie is her sister. Lizz arrives at the hospital just in time to say a few words before her sister dies. Meanwhile, Joe Period finds himself lost in a maze of pipes in a building's service corridor.
