It's the kind of gloriously weird image that perfectly suits China Miéville's run, where superhero transformation takes genuinely surreal, unsettling turns. Alberto Ponticelli and Dan Green handle interior art duties on "Threadbare Ontology," promising the same inventive strangeness the series has made its signature.
