China Miéville's wildly inventive New 52 series continues with issue #13, featuring a Brian Bolland cover that's equal parts unsettling and deadpan funny — a blue-masked, barrel-chested figure grips a large wooden ruler between his teeth while clutching what appears to be a bundle of arrows, all set against a ghostly rotary dial telephone etched into a crumbling wall behind him.
