Dexter's Laboratory #34
Dexter finds himself in quite the predicament on Bill Wray's surreal cover for this April 2003 issue — the boy genius floats aboard his trusty rowboat ("Dexter's Boat") through a chaotic dimension where giant disembodied eyeballs, flying fish, floating doorways, and shattered floorboards swirl around him in a wonderfully bizarre scene. It's the kind of delightfully off-kilter cartoon weirdness that made the Dexter's Laboratory DC run such a treat for fans of the show. With Ian Boothby scripting and Matt Jenkins on interior art, issue #34 promises the same inventive humor that keeps this series firing on all cylinders.
