From DC's February 1963 issue comes this wonderfully unsettling cover by Sheldon Moldoff, promising "The Secret of Clayface's Power!" The scene shows a horrified Robin watching as a clay-encrusted Batman — his costume already half-consumed by the transformation — stands alongside the lumbering Clayface himself, with Robin's speech bubble delivering the alarming verdict: "It's Batman! He's become another Clayface!" Writer Jack Miller and artist Joe Certa bring the interior adventure to life, making this one of those Silver Age issues where the cover alone raises just enough questions to make you absolutely need to turn the page.
