Demon Knights #13

Part of DC's New 52 line, Demon Knights #13 (December 2012) promises dark medieval fantasy at its most intense with the striking cover tagline "The Power of Lucifer" looming over a scene of pure chaos. Bernard Chang's cover depicts a fearsome demon — golden-masked and clawed — dominating the foreground as it menaces a fallen figure, while a pale, white-haired Lucifer looms triumphantly above against a hellish backdrop of skulls and flames. Several members of the Demon Knights team are visible at the edges, battered and imperiled, hinting at the desperate stakes writer Paul Cornell has built into this arc.
