This oversized 1960 Dell Giant brings Marge's beloved Little Lulu and Tubby to the sunny shores of Hawaii, and the cover absolutely captures the island spirit — Lulu hula-dances center stage in a grass skirt and lei, while a grinning Tubby strums a ukulele on the left and a smaller boy beats a drum on the right, all three wreathed in flowers and pure good cheer. John Stanley's writing paired with Irving Tripp's artwork made for a winning creative team, and this giant-sized format gives their cheerful, warm-hearted style plenty of room to breathe.
