Dell Giant #48 brings Hanna-Barbera's Stone Age suburbanites to oversized comic form in this 1961 treat subtitled Bedrock Bedlam. Harvey Eisenberg's cover captures the whole gang crammed into a rickety wooden vehicle — a frazzled Fred Flintstone at the helm, Wilma and Pebbles grinning behind him, Barney looking bewildered, and their prehistoric pets Dino and Baby Puss along for the chaotic ride. It's a cheerful, energetic snapshot of Bedrock's favorite families that makes the "bedlam" of the title feel entirely well-earned.
