The final issue of Matt Fraction's run brings together a striking ensemble on Terry and Rachel Dodson's cover: Silver Surfer soars above while Doctor Strange, a dark-haired warrior wielding twin blades, a one-eyed gunman, a masked martial artist, Ant-Man, and what appears to be a Wasp-like figure charge forward in unified purpose. The tagline "Protecting Humanity from the Impossible" sets the stakes perfectly for a story titled "The Impossible End." With interior art by Mirco Pierfederici and colors by Veronica Gandini, this twelfth and closing chapter promises a fitting conclusion to one of Marvel's more inventive team books of 2013.
