Deathstroke #18
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, this May 2013 issue of Deathstroke presents a striking cover by Aaron Kuder that tells a story of dramatic reversal: Deathstroke himself is face-down in a pool of blood, his battered golden armor cracked and broken, while a dark-haired figure in a red cape descends from above — suspended upside-down, bound, yet somehow still commanding the composition. Scattered swords and an arrow punctuate the scene, underscoring just how brutal the confrontation has been. With Justin Jordan scripting and Edgar Salazar on interior art, "Fight the Future" looks to push Deathstroke to his absolute limits.
