Deathblow #4

Deathblow charges straight at the viewer on this visceral 1994 Image cover, dual pistols blazing and shell casings flying as fiery explosions light up the background behind him — Jim Lee's cover pencils and inks delivering the character's relentless, soldier-on-the-edge energy in full force. A small inset in the corner teases a Cybernary backup story, rounding out what looks to be a packed issue. With writing from Jim Lee and Brandon Choi and interior art by Tim Sale, this is a solid mid-series entry in one of Image's more grounded, military-flavored titles.
