In "Birth Rites Part One," Death's Head and Tuck press their assault on AIM installations in search of Necker’s whereabouts—only to be ambushed by a mercenary force led by a woman who reveals herself as Dr. Necker’s mother, Eliza. With the truth of her connection to her daughter’s dark ambitions laid bare, Eliza agrees to aid Death's Head in tracking down the dangerous future she’s created. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Dougie Braithwaite, this 1993 Marvel UK issue features bold colors by Gary Gravett and sharp lettering by Peri Godbold, with a striking cover by Salvador Larroca and Andy Lanning.
