Deadshot #3

The penultimate chapter of DC's four-issue Deadshot mini-series carries the intriguing subtitle "Secrets," and Luke McDonnell's cover delivers a fittingly chaotic scene — Deadshot in his distinctive red-and-silver costume grapples at close quarters with a man in a suit, while above them a wild melee erupts with gunfire, shattering glass, and figures in red combat gear clashing amid the debris. The yellow background makes every punch and muzzle flash pop with urgent energy, and the bold title design reinforces that this series isn't pulling its punches. John Ostrander, Kim Yale, and McDonnell were clearly committed to putting Floyd Lawton through the wringer right up to the final issue.
