Deadpool Team-Up #884
In "Untitled," Deadpool finds himself trapped in an elevator with the Watcher, Uatu—a scenario that’s equal parts absurd and oddly profound. With a bizarre alien monster-puppy adding chaos and the usually detached cosmic observer surprisingly getting involved, the story blends Deadpool’s trademark irreverence with a rare moment of Watcher-level introspection. Written by Tom Peyer and illustrated by Jacob Chabot, with vibrant colors by John Rauch and sharp lettering by Jeff Eckleberry, the issue’s standout moment is pure, unfiltered weirdness—especially the elevator scene that lingers long after the last page. The cover, by Skottie Young, captures the surreal tone perfectly.

Deadpool gets stuck in an elevator with the Watcher. Sure, there's other stuff in the story involving an alien monster-puppy and Mr. "I-Observe-But-Never-Get-Involved" Uatu throwing a few punches and a bed-load of cash, but that whole elevator thing is classic and probably the only part of the story you will remember ten minutes after reading the comic (unless you are a Golden Age junkie and are thrilled about the obscure Tales to Astonish #5 cross-reference).
