“Typhoid....It Ain't Just fer Cattle Any More (or Head Trips)”

In Deadpool #7 (1997), writer Joe Kelly and artist Ed McGuinness kick off a wild, self-aware ride as Deadpool brings his new partner, Typhoid Mary, to Hellhouse for a chaotic introduction to the mercenary crew. When Weasel teleports in and T-Ray humiliates Deadpool by burning off his mask in front of the group, Mary’s buried past surfaces—sending her racing to New York with a single, urgent mission. The cover by Ed McGuinness and Nathan Massengill captures the issue’s sharp humor and escalating tension.
