Deadpool #7

The cover of this 2013 Marvel NOW! entry says it all: Deadpool cheerfully sips a whipped-cream milkshake through a loopy straw while a disheveled, sweaty man sits across from him, a bottle of Winston Canadian whisky on the table between them — and Iron Man's faceplate rests face-down like a passed-out party guest. Writers Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan team with artist Scott Koblish for a story cheekily titled "Drinking Game," and Kevin Maguire's cover perfectly captures the absurd, good-natured humor that made this era of Deadpool such a treat. If you ever wanted to see the Merc with a Mouth out-drink a Marvel legend, this issue looks like a very good place to start.
