“Dare to Be Deviled”

The story title "Dare to Be Deviled" already hints at some colorful crossover mischief, and the cover by Tradd Moore delivers exactly that: Deadpool leaps through a burst of gunfire and chaos, guns blazing and sword in hand, while a blonde woman tumbles through the dust below him. Looming large in the background are three unmistakable faces — a wide-eyed red-haired woman, a masked hero with a calm, serious expression, and a massive grey-skinned bruiser who looks less than thrilled about the whole situation. Part of the Marvel NOW! initiative and brought to life by writers Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan with art by Mike Hawthorne and colors by Val Staples, this issue promises the kind of gleefully chaotic energy that made this run a fan favorite in 2013.
