“Het woeste land”

In "Het woeste land," Iron Fist and Power Man Luke Cage survive a mid-air collision with the incredible Hulk, only to crash-land in a remote, isolated region. Stranded and mistaken for the Hulk, Luke Cage is forced to dig a well by a reclusive hillbilly family—until he’s aided by Patty, the family’s curious daughter. With help from the Hulk’s unexpected intervention, the trio escapes the wilderness and makes their way to New York City. Written by Mike W. Barr and illustrated by Carmine Infantino, with inks by Mike Esposito and colors by Bob Sharen, this issue blends action and quiet humanity in a story that’s as much about unexpected alliances as it is about survival. Cover by Carmine Infantino.
