Part of DC's New 52 initiative, this October 2012 issue spotlights Kid Flash in a solo showcase drawn from the pages of Teen Titans. Ryan Sook's cover places the lightning-wreathed speedster front and center, sprinting straight at the viewer while three menacing Saurian creatures — a shrieking reptilian humanoid to his left, a winged figure swooping overhead, and a crouching, hooded creature at his right — close in around him amid city traffic. With Fabian Nicieza writing and Jorge Jiménez on interior art, this is a solid New 52 chapter for fans of fast-moving action and prehistoric threats.
