About this Collection

This volume collects several intercompany crossovers between DC and Marvel from the late 1990s and early 2000s, including the four-issue 'Batman & Captain America' miniseries by John Byrne and the 'Batman & Daredevil' one-shot by Alan Grant and Eduardo Barreto. It also reprints 'The Uncanny X-Men and The New Teen Titans' one-shot from 1982, a landmark team-up written by Chris Claremont and Walt Simonson. This is the fourth entry in DC's series of trade paperbacks gathering these rare crossover events.

In "Unholy Alliances," Superman ventures into the Fantastic Four's universe, driven by the belief that Galactus destroyed Krypton. With the help of the Four, he confronts the Planet-Eater—only to be chosen as his next herald. Written by Dan Jurgens and illustrated by Art Thibert, with colors by Greg Wright and letters by Bill Oakley, this 2003 crossover features a cover by Ed McGuinness and Jason Martin.
