Daughters of the Dragon #2

Issue two of this six-part Marvel limited series brings together the street-tough duo at the heart of Daughters of the Dragon, rendered with real confidence by cover penciler Khari Evans and inker Jimmy Palmiotti. The cover composition is all attitude: one woman in bold red jacket and red pants raises a metal-gauntleted fist while standing above her partner, who reaches toward the viewer in a dynamic low-angle pose wearing a crisp white tracksuit and blue cap — a couple of bystanders scrambling in the background making it clear these two command the scene. With writers Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti and colorist Christina Strain bringing "And Then There Were Two" to life inside, this is a series that wears its cool with zero effort.
