Dark Horse Presents #9

This award-winning anthology (named Best Anthology at the Eisner, Harvey, and Stumptown Comic Arts Awards) returns with issue #9, leading off with Sergio Aragonés's Groo in "The Kids Who Would Be Kings, Chapter 3," written by Mark Evanier with colors by Tom Luth and lettering by Stan Sakai. Aragonés's cover captures Groo front and center — sword raised, his spotted dog Rufferto at his heels — surrounded by a crowd of ragged children and hemmed in on all sides by a bristling forest of ornate halberds, all rendered in Aragonés's wonderfully intricate style.
