Dark Horse Presents #107 spotlights "Rusty Razorclam: President of Neptune," and Mike Mignola's cover sets the tone beautifully — a goggled, gear-laden figure rides some kind of hulking vehicle through a star-flecked void, with a grinning monkey perched atop their head and an array of bizarre mechanical contraptions flanking them on either side. Mignola's signature bold linework and deep shadows give the whole scene a wonderfully offbeat retro-sci-fi flavor. With Steve Purcell writing and Mignola on art duties inside, this 1996 anthology entry looks like a genuine treat for fans of strange, adventurous comics.
