Dark Horse Comics #21

This 1994 anthology issue from Dark Horse's "Comics' Greatest World" era puts two stories under one cover, with the striking image by Mark A. Nelson showing a massive yellow armored mecha squaring off against a muscular, shirtless man swinging a heavy chain amid urban rubble. The energy crackling between them gives the standoff a raw, street-level intensity that sets the tone for the "Mecha: Urban Renewal" segment. Also included is "Blood on Two-Witch Mesa Part 2," written and illustrated by Terry LaBan and Howard Cobb — a Predator story that promises plenty of tension for fans of that franchise.
