The volume follows Matt Murdock as he faces the mysterious and lethal Maki Matsumoto, a woman trained by the same organization that created Bullseye, whose arrival in Hell's Kitchen sets off a violent chain of events. Written by Ed Brubaker with art by Michael Lark and Stefano Gaudiano, it collects issues #111-115 of the Daredevil series.
In "Lady Bullseye Part One," Matt takes Dakota to Iron Fist for help healing her wounded arm, but their quiet moment is interrupted when Lady Bullseye arrives in New York with a deadly mission. Tasked by the Hand to eliminate Iron Fist and Black Tarantula, she’s warned to avoid Daredevil—though her path may cross his sooner than expected. As Matt and Dakota train together, their bond deepens in ways neither expected, leaving Matt haunted by guilt when he learns the city now believes Daredevil is a murderer.
In "Lady Bullseye Part Two," Matt is arrested for murder, but Dakota steps in with an alibi—she and Matt spent the night together. Meanwhile, Lady Bullseye orchestrates a brutal test, sending the Hand to attack Black Tarantula and Iron Fist to study their combat techniques. When Matt and Dakota return to his apartment, they find Hector bound in the living room and an odd old man rummaging through the fridge. The man introduces himself as Master Izo, asks for a beer, and then quietly requests Matt’s help in facing the Hand.
In "Lady Bullseye Part Three," Daredevil faces a new and deadly threat as the Hand's reach extends to those he cares about. With his allies falling victim to a shadowy assailant, Matt is drawn into a dangerous game when Lady Bullseye strikes again—this time targeting White Tiger in a brutal, unexpected assault.
In "Lady Bullseye Part Four," Matt Murdock faces a crisis of loyalty and control when the Hand ambushes him at his apartment, using mind-controlled allies to force his hand. With Milla’s parents demanding a divorce and the stakes rising, Matt must navigate betrayal, personal secrets, and a dangerous game where even allies may not be who they seem.
In "Lady Bullseye: Conclusion," Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Master Izo face off against Lady Bullseye and the Hand, now wielding the corrupted powers of Black Tarantula and White Tiger. When Daredevil learns Lady Bullseye’s true aim isn’t his death but his ascension as the Hand’s new leader, he must confront a choice that tests his very identity.
