Daredevil: Dark Nights #3

A battered, frost-covered Daredevil stands his ground in the snow, a medical case slung over his shoulder, while a ring of masked, armed figures closes in from every side — it's a tense, atmospheric image that says everything about what the Man Without Fear is willing to endure. Lee Weeks both wrote and illustrated this issue, and his cover work here is raw and purposeful, with Lee Loughridge's cold blue palette giving the whole scene a wintry, desperate edge. "Angels Unaware Part Three: Change of Heart" arrives in 2013 as part of Marvel's Dark Nights miniseries, and this cover alone makes a compelling case for picking it up.
