Daredevil: Dark Nights #2

This second installment of "Angels Unaware" finds Daredevil at his most human — literally buried to his waist in deep snow, clinging to an ice-covered street sign amid a brutal blizzard, with "Don't Walk" and "Wait for Green Light" signs clustered around him in grim irony. Lee Weeks's cover, colored by Lee Loughridge, is quietly striking: the swirling white-out storm and frosted icicles hanging from the pole convey a man pushing through conditions that would stop almost anyone else. It's a beautifully understated image that sets a tense, grounded mood for this Marvel series.
