Sent to Ryker’s Island, he finds himself trapped in a cellblock with Kingpin, now betrayed by the very authorities who put him there, and a rogues' gallery of criminals all waiting for the next move. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated with gritty precision by Alex Maleev, with colors by Dave Stewart, this issue captures the weight of consequence and the quiet tension of a world where even heroes are just another inmate. The cover by Alex Maleev perfectly frames the moment’s gravity.
