The bookstore owner, Mindy Libris, is still on Matthew's mind as he presents Foggy with the book she acquired for his birthday. Believing that Daredevil is dead, Kingpin moves to extricate himself from the workings of lower crimes in the city and sets his sights on a larger game plan. Matthew, as a parole officer, is faced with the sudden and unwitting appearance in his office of the brother of the man he accidentally killed a few months ago, Leo Carraro.
