“The Frightful Flight”

In "The Frightful Flight," Daffy Duck faces off against a cunning fox armed with a surprising new trick: hypnosis. When Daffy attempts to outwit him with his own mind games, he quickly realizes the fox is the master of the art—until a clever twist with a mirror turns the tables. Written and illustrated by Phil De Lara, with inks and colors by the Western Publishing Production Shop, this 1959 Dell classic features a delightfully absurd battle of wits, all capped by a cover by Phil De Lara that captures the cartoon’s zany energy.

Daffy learns that the fox has a new secret weapon... hypnosis. Daffy also tries to hypnotize the fox, but the fox is better at it than he is. Daffy beats him by using a mirror so that the fox hypnotizes himself. Daffy then convinces him that he is a June bug so that he will be afraid of the ducks.
