Daffy Duck struts through a downpour wearing an enormous yellow sombrero that's doing double duty as a rain collector — water pours out of a drainage hole in the brim while Daffy grins with cheerful self-satisfaction, dressed in a colorful serape. Phil De Lara's cover art captures the duck's irrepressible personality perfectly, turning a simple rainstorm into a showcase for Daffy's resourceful (if ridiculous) ingenuity. This 1957 Dell issue is a charming ten-cent slice of animated comedy at its most endearing.
