Issue eleven of Curse of the Spawn arrives in 1997 with a cover by Dwayne Turner that commands immediate attention — a fierce, red-haired warrior woman clad in ornate horned armor stands defiantly atop a mound of skulls, wielding a massive, darkly glowing axe while runic ribbons and heavy chains coil around her. The stormy, ash-colored sky and blood-drenched details give the whole image a genuinely menacing otherworldly weight.
