Cud Comics #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTerry LaBan's underground-flavored humor is in full bloom with Cud Comics #4, where a cheerful blonde woman in overalls delights in spring's splendor — holding a flower and rhapsodizing about everything "bursting with life" — while her hapless companion, face swollen and dripping, mumbles along through what is clearly a far less pleasant experience. Colorful roses, yellow wildflowers, a buzzing bee, and falling petals fill the lush garden scene with warmth and comic irony. It's a wonderfully funny snapshot of LaBan's deadpan wit, published by Dark Horse in 1996.
