Only one of two embezzlers get caught, but the convict threatens to get even with his partner who was not suspected. When the man returns home, he finds a doppelganger of the convict waiting for him. They struggle, and the doppelganger dies during the fight. He hears on the radio that the convict in prison has died at the same moment the doppelganger perishes. He is so flustered by the incident that he confesses his role in the crime to the police.
